For each opportunity or organization, you can assign a source, which tells what the origin is. For example, you can specify if an opportunity created because of a marketing campaign, mailing, webinar, website inquiry or from an existing customer.
VOGSY offers a filter in the sales funnel and search, which allows you to see which opportunities are related to the selected sources. This makes it possible to monitor the successes of marketing campaigns or other channels from which opportunities are created.
Just like ‘Opportunity types’, it’s optional to use ‘Opportunity sources’. If you don’t want to use them, make sure you archive all sources, so filter ‘Source’ will not be visible in the Sales funnel the drop-down ‘Source’ in the opportunity edit-form is hidden.
